Meet Rebekah.

For as long as I can remember I’ve liked flowers. In fact, I recently found a picture of myself from Kindergarten or 1st grade - I have a big smile and I’m standing next to a giant weed, but it had a purple flower! Clearly my fondness for flowers started early. However, it wasn’t until after I took a few floral design courses that I truly fell in love with the power of flowers. If someone dies, when a baby is born, on a special occasion - we think of flowers! Somehow flowers can say ‘I’m sorry’, ‘I love you,’ and ‘congratulations’.

Although my college courses and work selection took me into accounting and book keeping for many years, I continued to develop my floral design skills. Next thing I knew I was arranging flowers for the celebrations of my friends and family. I can still remember the designs I made for my brother and sister-in-law over 15 years ago. While my skills have grown dramatically and you won’t find those images on my website today, those early events were so special and laid the foundation for my local small business.

For years I enjoyed providing a great service for my loved ones as a hobby. In 2012 I designed my first paid event for a ‘stranger’ and my life hasn’t been the same since. A few years later, after juggling my desk job and floral design, in 2015 I took the bold step to leave my desk job and I haven’t looked back.
