2014 Wedding Season Begins | Trentadue Winery Wedding
I had every intention of keeping up with my blog during the 2014 wedding season. I wrote up a handful of fantastic drafts so that once I received images from ever generous photographers I could just plug them in and post. I failed! The season was just so busy and my energy couldn’t be devoted to the blog quite like I had hoped. Well, I’m making up for that. Feast your eyes on this pretty wedding at Trentadue Winery and see how my 2014 wedding season started off. Enjoy!

There is no lack of options when looking for a winery wedding venue in Alexander Valley. I’m sure the choice is difficult to make but depending on the couples style and the feel they’re going for – they can begin to narrow down the field until they hone in on the ideal site for them. To me, a floral designer – not a bride-to-be, every venue seems like the perfect venue and I would be more than happy to bring floral arrangements I’ve designed and decorate every nook and cranny. If you’re planning your wedding and are looking for a nice mixture between outdoors and indoors – a Trentadue Winery Wedding may be the way to go. A lot of wineries and wedding venues have a very rustic and country feel to them. To me, Trentadue Winery feels more elegant. The reception room has tall ceilings and with 3 sides being mostly windows / doors you get plenty of great outdoor light.

Although I had emailed the Bride, Lisa, a few times – we got to meet face to face one day while she was in town meeting with other vendors and handling other important wedding prep. It was such a nice meeting – Lisa, myself and Heather(of Holliday Weddings) were all on the same beautiful page. I was to use soft textures, light colors and succulents to create a multi leveled look for Lisa’s wedding. I’m all about repurposing floral arrangements as much as possible. So we used centerpieces for the ceremony decor and then relocated to their designated location afterward. I’m thrilled with how this event turned out. Have a look!
Wedding Planner: Holliday Weddings (Love this team lead by Heather Holliday! Spunky, full of life and impeccable attention to detail!)
Lead Photographer: Claire Lewis (It was my first time working with Claire and I find her work exquisite…. don’t you agree?!)Assistant Photographer: Dominic Egan (I first met Dominic at a wedding in Bodega Bay…. It was an unexpected treat to work with him on another event!)
I had the privilege of providing the personal florals(bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages) for a Trentadue Winery Wedding a couple years back. White, black and bling were the focus of that Trentadue Winery Wedding. I hope to be back again soon.
