Ramekins Wedding in the Spring | Sonoma, CA
When I hear the words Ramekins Wedding I instantly think of crème brûlée. This has nothing to do with weddings or flowers or event design. However, it has everything to do with the little white dish that holds perfectly cooked rich custard dessert topped with a layer of hard caramel that cracks when you tap your spoon on it for your first bite. Is your mouth watering now? Mine is and I can’t even eat dairy! Apparently I have been watching too many shows on the Food Network channel. Oh well, sue me.(please don’t really!)
Let me get on track with flowers and these pretty images shot by Kristen Wolfe. Last Spring, Irina & Josh got married. The first look and the bridal party photos were taken at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa where the Bride and Groom along with there squads got ready for the big day. My next stop was Ramekins Culinary School, Events & Inn. This was my first event at Ramekins, but I hope it won’t be my last. It may seem like a small space compared to other venues but truly there is a lot of versatility. There are three different areas that are really suitable for any part of your wedding day.
I hope you love all the details.
I love that the Groom’s ‘best man’ is his little sister.(melt my heart!)
After the first look jitters come these giant smiles.
A closer look at the bouquet details.
Boutonnieres – up close and personal.
The use of lilac was very important to the Bride. Here’s a look at how I incorporated lilac into the aisle enders.
Ulga the flowergirl…. just to clarify, she’s Jewish. 😉
A little accent piece for the Escort Card table.
Wood boxes were the preferred container for this couple.
Wedding cake with flowers I provided. I love that custom cake topper!(Can you see Ulga?)
