Marin Art and Garden Center

Have you ever been to the Marin Art and Garden Center? No? You should go visit. It’s quiet, peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. A very nice garden to enjoy the simple beauty of nature in the middle of the city. It’s even prettier to have your wedding there. That’s exactly what Hannah and Justin decided to. They had their wedding at Marin Art and Garden Center this past summer. Or is June considered Spring? Either way, it was a warm and sun shiny day in Marin, CA.

Hannah specified to me that she wanted Lavender flowers for everything. As we chatted more I was able to find that she didn’t just want the color lavender she wasn’t the actual flower, Lavender. The boutonnieres and corsages along with the bouquets would be all lavender while the bridal bouquet would also include fresh white roses and other purple flowers. As I look thru the pictures, that Hannah provided me, taken by Anna Marks Photography – It looks like it turned out to be a sweet event for a very sweet lady and her groom.

Hannah’s bridesmaid bouquets consisted of freshly dried Lavender grown at Lavender Bee Farms in Petaluma, Ca. They give tours during the lavender season, see a lot of great lavender products and are very kind people. You should stop sometime!

For the bridal bouquet I used Lemon Leaf, White Roses and Spray Roses, Purple Lisianthus, and Misty. The Centerpieces at dinner had the same ‘ingredients’ as the bridal bouquet, but I also added Ornamental Kale. Hannah requested burlap and lace for the mason jars and the bouquet stem wraps.
