A Pink Rustic Affair | Kunde Family Estate Wedding
Kunde Family Estate
I’m the girl who tries to find the positive in every oops, the good in everyone I meet and the beauty in every flower I see. So when Jennifer told me in our first consultation that she liked carnations…. I knew I liked her. So many people these days don’t like carnations. I think it’s sad. Jenn’s mom told me that it was Jennifer’s grandmothers favorite flower and so Jenn has liked them ever since she was little. I thought, what a nice way to incorporate a love of flowers between generations.
Jennifer and Kevin picked Kunde Family Estate as their venue. Jennifer knew they were taking a risk, picking a venue with no shelter for their late October wedding. She’s a risk taker this girl…. carnations and no alternatives in case of rain! The day of the wedding, the sun was shining and the carnations were fluffy. Things couldn’t have been more perfect.

I love showing up on site and seeing that you are working with another fabulously creative and highly professional company. All the lovely details I’m sharing now were captured by Kara Miller of Kara Miller Photography.
This arch was built by the groom’s brother specifically for the ceremony. It has the wedding date engraved on the inside and was transported home afterward for the couple to keep. I love personalized touches like this! It looked great at the Kunde Family Estate ruins. The arch really created a nice focal point for the bride and groom to stand at for the Ceremony. Jennifer had a lot of great ideas for how to decorate it – I just executed them: burlap fabric draping, hanging globes and floral accents.
I mentioned earlier Jennifer’s love of Carnations. Well, she also really likes baby’s breath. Check out these cute little chair decorations I made for her aisle. Dunfillan Ruins at Kunde Family Estate was just so pretty!
Take a look at the pictures from the reception dinner. As you can see from the pictures, Jennifer went with a very trendy style. White and pink flowers, burlap and lace along with lanterns and wood round centers. There were more votive candles at the dinner tables than you could ever imagine. It required about 6+ people to get them all lit in a timely manner….from what I heard. 😀 Thank goodness for Heather Holliday and her team from Holliday Weddings. That woman is a wonderful lil bundle of energy. I love her!
What’s a wedding without cake?? This cutie got a nice fluffy football mum. Fleur De Lisa Wedding Cakes rocked this lil pink ombre stunner.
Jennifer and Kevin hand selected a rockstar crew of vendors and their wedding was nothing but amazing. I hope to work with all of them again.
I wish the couple the best for the years to come.
